Global Dimension in Initial Teaching Training (ITE)

We believe that supporting practitioners in developing their awareness of global development issues and the role of global education should start at the early stages of their training to become a teacher or a youth worker.

Education in the 21st century needs to provide a stimulating and participatory learning environment where children and young people can increase their understanding of the world around them.

One strategic way of embedding a global education approach into teaching and youth work practice is to share these ideas with students in initial teacher education, PGCE and youth work programmes.

MUNDI is currently looking to expand its work with local Higher Education and Further Education institutions. Contact us to find out more about how we can support your organisation.
