MUNDI is run by an elected Board of Trustees who meet regularly to review the management of the organisation and take strategic decisions for its efficient running and future direction. The Board is composed of professionals from different fields and backgrounds, who bring a wealth of expertise and knowledge, making MUNDI the successful organisation it is today.
Marie-Line Antoine
Marie-Line is an e-Learning Consultant for Children's Services in Nottingham City. Her specialist areas are in modern languages, geography, media studies and creative technologies. Marie-Line is passionate about education and the role it plays in creating opportunities and choices for people, as well as fighting inequalities.
Maggie Barr
Maggie has recent retired from a varied teaching career encompassing the 11-18 age group as well as Further Education. After working for MUNDI between 1990 and 1991, she became a member of the management committee. Maggie believes in the importance of development education and global perspectives, particularly in the context of secondary schools and colleges.
Richard Browne
Richard is the Treasurer of MUNDI. He is a Learning Manager in the Children and Young People's Service at Nottinghamshire County Council, where he oversees the Council's Global Dimension and International Links programme, working with all schools and partner organisations.
Dr Anne Convery
Anne has been a Trustee of MUNDI since 1992. Anne’s background is in secondary education (she taught French and German in schools in Nottinghamshire and Nottingham City for ten years) and she is currently a Lecturer in Education at the University of Nottingham. Her research interests include global citizenship, foreign languages and the European dimension in education.

Joy Mullan
Joy is an experienced primary school teacher in Nottinghamshire. She is also involved in curriculum development work and is interested in embedding the principles of global education into teaching practice and learning resources.
Dr Clare Newstead
Claire Plumb
Claire works for Leicester Masaya Link Group, a voluntary organisation which co-ordinates Leicester's international town-twinning link with the city of Masaya in Nicaragua. She is also joint co-ordinator of Global Education Leicester(shire), which supports a wide range of education practitioners in developing their understanding of issues around social justice, human rights and sustainable development.
John Shaw
John retired from a career in teaching in 2006. He taught Geography and Humanities in a number of comprehensive schools within Nottinghamshire, having held the role of Deputy Head and Head teacher in the past. John is interested in fine arts and enjoys painting portraits and landscapes in his spare time.
Dr Roy Smith
Roy is Principal Lecturer in International Relations and Programme Leader for the MA in International Development at Nottingham Trent University. He has a particular research interest in the Asia-Pacific region. Roy has been a visiting fellow at the Australian National University and is a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Developing Societies. He has recently been appointed to the Advisory Council of the Development Education Association.
